Kicking Off Spring at Full Speed

After a very wet and dark winter the X-Treme team welcomes the spring season. We have hit high season already this year, so the team has been working hard to get all the projects out on time.

The creativity and solution driven thinking of our beloved customers gives us energy and motivation to take on each challenge. Let there be light, peace globally and plenty of positive inflation thanks to our products!

An iconic inflatable for an iconic DJ

When Paris-based DJ ARYMÉ comes to you with a last minute inflatable idea, you say yes of course!

We worked on this 2 metre mirror hand peace or V sign to hang above his DJ set. The first show was in the iconic Yoyo Palais de Tokyo in Paris, and since then he’s been touring the world!

An inflatable is the perfect companion for an artist on tour, light weight and compact enough to travel easily with, super quick to install and dismantle, but when inflated, it makes a real impact, and attracts a lot of attention!

We saw that first hand at his gig in Paris, our social feeds were flooded with snaps of the shiny inflatable.

Plus it’s a big win for Inflatable Dan as a dad when both your daughters are big fans if your customer!

Mirror fabric is becoming more and more popular in the inflatable world. It has evolved from a fragile material into a durable, versatile fabric; perfect for creative 3D projects.

Antwerp’s biggest ever croissant (probably)

How many croissants do you think could fit into this beast?!

Lidl wanted to go big for their latest campaign, so they partnered with the CitySmiles team to blow up their best-selling croissant in a big way!

We took the iconic tasty treat and created a mega croissant! That’s right, a 10 metre long croissant! YUM!

But it wasn’t easy! This was a complex project; we had to ensure it was visually realistic, get the shape and dimensions accurate, plus build in ways to attach it to the billboard. We have plenty of experience in this area, we worked with the crew at CitySmiles and built in special elements to safely display the giant and ensure it would remain in place and in shape for the duration of the campaign.

The campaign ran during March in the heart of Antwerp street.

PS, the answer to how many croissants can fit inside the giant croissant… one million!

This launch was built for attention

While Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos’ Blue Origin have been busy building rockets, so have we!

Tec7 wanted to LAUNCH their latest product, and what better way to do it than with an inflatable!

We created four 2m airtight rockets with their familiar branding. They were used to fly above their booth at exhibitions, guiding customers in, catching eyes and creating interest.

The airtight inflatables were fitted with anchor points allowing them to be easily hung up.

This mascot has better dance moves than us

Have you seen the Napoleon Score mascot dancing on your TikTok feed? So have we! And wow they have some good moves!

We’ve been working with the team at Napoleon on a few projects recently and the latest one has become a little viral!

The Napoleon Score mascot was brought to life with a vibrant, lightweight walker suit. This allowed the brand to have more visibility in events they support, including the recent Belgian Darts, Napoleon Bonaparte was animating crowds, taking selfies and even having dance battles with fans!

We’ve had lots of brands choosing inflatable walker suits recently, they allow you to take your marketing on the move and engage with people in a personal, memorable way! They’re perfect for events, fairs, festivals, and brand activations - anywhere you want to create interactive excitement and leave a lasting impression.

Co-Creation Takes the Stage in Bordeaux

Our inflatables regularly take centre stage, quite literally, playing a key role in live performances alongside artists and actors.

For this stage performance by Producer Sophie Perez, promising “everything, nothing, a jubilant deception, beauty and excess”, our inflatables take their place among the cast. Look out for a set of inflatable balls, a tongue, and a giant Tony Clifton head.

These inflatables were quite complex creations, requiring a lot of close consultation with the customer to get them perfect, and functioning in a specific way during inflation. They worked in perfectly with other stage elements of different hard materials, a perfect example of co-creation stage props.

Want to know more? Well you’ll have to go to the show! Sturbzep is on 27, 28 and 29 May at Théâtre national de Bordeaux Aquitaine in Bordeaux France.
