Winter has arrived here in Europe. We're busy finishing off the last projects for 2024 before the Christmas break!

As the year comes to an end I was thinking back to 20 years ago on Belgian National Television. A reporter asked me about the X-Treme mission, and I answered that our mission was to blow up the entire world. 

No, we are not a super villain in a movie trying to end the world, we just want to continue creating and supplying inflatables for our beloved customers! As a company X-Treme is slowly but surely achieving its peaceful mission.

We look forward to continuing our mission in the years to come.

It's a classic story. You get quotes on inflatables and one quote is much lower than the others. You go with the bargain company thinking you have saved your company or your client a lot of money. Afterwards you might begin to have trouble with your purchase. As it turns out, this “bargain-priced” inflatable doesn’t have much value and becomes a burden. In order to make the best decision possible for your investment, it is necessary to have sound information about the various aspects involved in the manufacturing process. A major factor in choosing a cold-air inflatable is the lifespan. Will the inflatable tear apart in windy conditions, will it fade in the sun, will it last indefinitely ? The answers to these questions rely primarily on the fabric chosen for the inflatable and the design.

Let’s face it: Inflatables are an investment, not an impulse purchase. That is why it only makes sense to purchase inflatables from long-standing companies who have proven track records with design -and product quality, on-time delivery, post-sales customer service and more. But honestly, how would you know? If you contacted an inflatables company (or they contacted you), how could you determine with a fair amount of certainty that your project would turn out exactly the way you wanted? However, many people mistakenly believe that all inflatables are cheap looking, noisy, childish "balloons" that must be used outdours ... There are many types and sizes of tailor made inflatables that can fit with practically any event or promotion. So, how do you choose the right one for you?

When you’re looking for a remarkable way to get noticed in the marketing jungle, everyone agrees that inflatables are a powerful and proven tool. One image says more than 1000 words. If you already know exactly what image or product to inflate than this works for X-Treme! You will need to be able to provide X-Treme professional 2D artwork of the logo’s, products etc. For more complex matters and innovative concepts it might really help to work with your agency to determine the concept and design/artwork which would fit perfectly in your communication. Once we finish production of the inflatable, you might also need help to take care of the after sales service like installations, transport and further logistics. Deciding which type of inflatable and knowing how to properly use them are important issues not to neglect.  

The whole idea of having an event of any sort is to create an atmosphere filled with excitement. Whether your event is a show, a festival, a conference, a celebration, a product launch, a sampling activation or any other type, you'll also need visitors and plenty of activation on the social media to make it succesful. Using inflatables helps you to accomplish these goals.

The Cork Jazz Festival is a music festival held in Cork City, Ireland every year in late October since 1978. The festival is Ireland's biggest jazz event and attracts hundreds of musicians and thousands of music fans to the city each year.

In september Stihl, the heavy gardening tools company invited their employees with their families for an informal event in their Belgium headquarters. Event agency KonseptS was in charge of the family-day.

We admit: it doesn’t happen very often that a client asks us to create an inflatable penis. We even admit that this was the first and only time ever. But what an assignment!

At Inflatable Dan’s babyshower, Dan Vandevoorde (the non-inflatable one) got interviewed on the first 20 years of X-Treme Creations. Dan talked about the beginning days, and about some of the many great projects X-Treme has realised in 20 years.
