Imperial, part of the Campofrio Food Group placed the inflatable Marcassou boar on the roof of their Imperial meat factory in Ghent. Almost everyone in Belgium has noticed the iconic Marcassou boar next to Belgium's busiest highway.

After one year of absence, the Marcassou boar is back on the roof of the Imperial meat factory in Ghent. Imperial, part of the Campofrio Food Group, has a perfect location for a giant eye-catcher, next to the E40 highway, known as Belgium's busiest highway. But they also wanted to state clear Marcassou are real Ardennes Salami. The sausages are still made locally in a small village in the Ardennes, following a traditional recipe.
Project:
The large meat products company chose to work with X-Treme again, since they were happy with the old boar, that had been on the roof permanently for nearly 10 years, challenged by the typical Belgian weather.
The original boar, which was very well known in the wide region for overlooking the highway from the roof since many years was redesigned and received a traffic sign saying "Ardennes: 188 km" as the E40 is also the road many Flemish people take for a weekend break in this beautiful region.
