A surreal return to Brussels! The Magritte Museum now features a permanent inflatable apple on its roof. After its earlier temporary appearance, the iconic apple has now found its forever home - a tribute to René Magritte's work.
Don't miss the chance to see this surreal symbol up close - and if you visit at night, you'll even see it illuminated!

In 2023, the iconic Magritte Museum in Brussels, the flagship of the Royal Museum of Fine Arts of Belgium, reopened its doors after six months of renovation. To celebrate this reopening, they asked X-Treme Creations to create an inflatable apple.
The museum quickly realized that the apple was a huge success, attracting significant attention. If we are to believe the marketing team of the Fine Arts Museum, the building with its giant inflatable apple is even the most filmed and photographed icon of Brussels! As a result, they decided to replace the temporary installation with a permanent version in 2024, designed to withstand all weather conditions and remain on the rooftop for years to come.
The green apple has a diameter of 6 meters and is placed on a dark gray base that measures 6 meters in width, 6 meters in depth, and 1.2 meters in height.
Can you spot the differences between the first and the second apple?
