Louis Vuitton does not need an introduction, the French luxury brand that manufactures suitcases, bags, accessories and clothing. Founded in 1854 and now an absolute world player in the luxury segment!
For the presentation of the men's spring collection of 2020, Virgil Abloh, who has been the creative brain behind Louis Vuitton men's clothing for the last year, initially wanted to organise this event in front of the Notre Dame Cathedral, but the fire that destroyed the cathedral decided unfortunately different about it.
He was forced to relocate the spectacle to the cobblestone streets and cafes of Place Dauphine, in the shadow of Notre Dame, to give his audience the opportunity to sit beneath cooling trees on Louis Vuitton wooden benches and drink a glass of champagne!
The marketing team had previously sent a Louis Vuitton do-it-yourself kit to the invitees make kites. All mature men with the aim of recalling the fun and creativity of their boyhood!
The Abloh collection was designed according to his conviction that it is time to slow down so we can once again appreciate the beauty of familiar things, and on the other hand to learn to enjoy again with childlike pleasure the world in which we live.

With this briefing, the agency "La Mode en images" came to the X-Treme team.
In order to reinforce the conviction of creative master Abloh, the idea had risen to produce a giant red backdrop in the form of a bouncy castle. Centrally placed on the "Place Dauphine" it would be the absolute eye-catcher during the show!
With a very short deadline, the X-Treme team took on this unique challenge with pleasure and of course some pride.
Together with the team of “La mode en Images”, we worked at high speed on finalizing the design of the inflatable. The specific shape, the exact pantone color, the logo of Louis Vuitton in 3D, the fake slides, it had to be all there and of course the sewing had to be excellent!
Once again the production team succeeded in completing the feat in time, and the logistics team also took on the placement of the set on the Paris square!
The presentation of the new collection was for a select “invitation only” audience consisting of influencers from all over the world, superstars from the film and music industry, as well as well-known sportsmen such as F1 pilot Lewis Hamilton were present in Paris!
Before the start of the show, the hashtags linked to Louis Vuitton and #MMS20 were already incredibly trending on both Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Youtube, with the striking red inflatable decor in the form of a bouncy castle being the beloved background of many influencers!
After receiving the smashing applause, designer Virgil Abloh returned for a moment to receive congratulations from a select group of invited guests, including LVMH owner Bernard Arnault.
