Hello Summer!

Even in these uncertain times, one thing remains steady: the creativity and passion of our clients from all around the world.

Before we dive into the upcoming festival season, ready to fill our hearts with music and bring us a bit of peace, we're proud to present this update, carefully curated by our team. While we’re excited to see many current projects take shape in the coming months, we’re equally proud to share some of the inspiring work we’ve already brought to life this spring.

Bubble Trouble in Zandvoort

The Zandvoort Street Art Festival is on right now and there is one art piece attracting A LOT of attention! Dutch artist Frankey unveiled his latest creation: a 4-meter-high 3D model of himself balancing on a ladder, blowing a giant gum bubble into the chimney which bursts out of the building’s windows.

The giant pink bubbles that bulge out the windows are custom inflatables - the perfect addition to Frankey’s work - adding a real life element to the design!

The sculpture is a preview of Gumballin’ 2, Frankey’s upcoming solo show exploring chewing gum as both material and metaphor.

“Chewing gum is totally pointless,” says Frankey. “And maybe that’s what makes it magical - pure play, wonder, and fun.”

Another fun piece by Frankey in his home country - with a little fresh air from X-Treme.

The installation will still visible when visiting the Dutch Formula 1 Circuit during the last weekend of August.

Sliding into summer!

What happens when you mix new Fanta flavours, a multi-level mall, and a 10.5-metre-high inflatable slide? You get an unforgettable brand experience.

As part of the Wanta Fanta campaign, we collaborated with the Creative Department of JCDecaux Belgium and the agency About Monday to deliver a giant, interactive activation at Westland Mall. The main attraction was of course the custom-built, Fanta-branded slide spanning 16 metres, physically connecting the mall’s two levels.

With over 1,000 slides per day, this bold installation wasn’t just a visual spectacle, it was a full sensory experience.

This activation drove engagement, boosted brand visibility, and turned an everyday retail space into a playground for all ages! A perfect example of how immersive experiences cut through the noise and leave a lasting impression.

Mirror balls are taking over Paris!

Sleek, reflective, and eye-catching, inflatable mirror spheres and other 3D shapes are becoming a go-to design element for agencies and creatives looking to elevate their spaces. Whether hanging overhead or the centrepiece of an activation, they take events to the next level!

We’ve recently seen them used to create impact at two different events in Paris.

At Nike’s House of Innovation on the Champs-Élysées, our airtight mirror spheres were part of a futuristic activation for the launch of the Air Max DN8. A part of a high-energy space by the very creative local Infrastructure Studio, the spheres reflected the movement and excitement of the experience.

At the Balloon Museum’s EUPHORIA exhibition in the Grand Palais, six of our 6m blower-drive spheres are now suspended in one of the world’s most iconic venues. It's a striking addition to an immersive show that celebrates inflatable art on an epic scale. They’ve already featured in hundreds of public social media posts by people enjoying the exhibition, which is on until September 7.

It goes to show, sometimes the simplest shapes can have the biggest presence!

BBC is Rugby – Top Gear

When you play giant car rugby, you need a giant inflatable rugby ball - that’s where we come in!

Top Gear France is known for it’s crazy challenges and games, and so when they approached us about their idea in France, we were excited! They were planning a game of car rugby, in which two teams of three players play rugby against each other but instead of running around, they’re driving a car, and instead of kicking a regular rugby ball they use their cars to bump a GIANT airtight inflatable rugby ball across the line.

The teams were full of petrol headed influencers including Antoine Magalhães (S2S), Franck Galiègue, Akram Junior, Étienne Jouneau, Les Pilotes Du Dimanche and François Dequidt (POG Forever).

We had to ensure the ball was durable enough to withstand multiple ‘kicks’ by a car, and we had to make sure branding was visible. We went with an airtight ball made with our strongest double PVC coated fabric, protected by a cover that could also feature the required branding.

The show aired on National French television earlier this month. On top of the real thing, we love seeing our inflatables on all screens! Watch the replay online!

Heads up, Lille

In case you missed it...

For 25 years we have been working with the team at Lille 3000 to produce inflatables for their cultural festivities, and this year was no different!

This year, the fabulous Kick off Fiesta parade carried some of our dynamic fly guys made for the artist Shen Özdemir.

And now, Artists Benoit+Bo's four inflatable Happy Heads are up, bringing a fresh perspective of colour, light, and culture to the Passage de l’Internationale.

Inspired by ancient Chinese theatre masks, these 6m high giant glowing heads hang from the ceiling like lanterns, surrounded by floating lights.

Go check them out if you're nearby during Fiesta, they'll be in place until November!

Have you seen our Sustainability Series on social media?

We’ve put together a three-part video series exploring how inflatables can be a smart and sustainable choice for events and activations. And of course we had a bit of fun with the videos

  •  Why inflatables can be a lower-impact option
  •  How to care for your inflatable so it lasts longer
  •  Why we love velcro (and you should too) for reuse and flexibility

Whether you're a client, a creator, or just inflatable-curious, it's a quick and useful watch. Plus you’re sure to have a laugh or two!

Find the series on our TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn!
