How inflatable structures become protagonists in an advertising film! To communicate the new creative rates of Mobistar (which meanwhile became “Orange”) to the customers X-treme developed, in collaboration with Tanker, kites in animal shape. The film could be seen during primetimes on national channels and in cinemas.

Briefing:
The concept of the publicity agency AIR for the production of advertising film is the following: Showing different lifestyles to clients and prospects in one short “feel-good” video while they can see their own “mobile profile” hanging in the air in the shape of dolphins, squirrel, panther, and kangaroo. Animals which on the one hand fly against a sunny sky and thereby people walk but on the other hand, are seen like real kites during the film. In order to reduce the transport costs of the material to Florida and to have an efficient installation process, the publicity agency AIR decided to work with sewn inflatables with internal blower and battery.
Project:
Once project was validated, X-treme could start with its conception, so draw the patterns and assembly them afterwards. To get as close as possible to the fabric of a real kite , we decided to work with spinnaker, a thin woven nylon fabric, resistant to tearing. De giant kites with internal blowers were made of two green standard color because of the short delivery term. It would be a delicate structures if there was too much wind but AIR wished very large kites and so were they! The largest measured 12 meters in diameter and 2 meters deep.
